This policy explains how SGR Solutions Ltd ("SGR Solutions", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit the SkulPay website or when a school uses the SkulPay platform.

2. Our role
Schools decide what student, parent and staff information they put into SkulPay and why. We process that information on the school's behalf, only to provide the service. If you are a parent, student or staff member and have a question about your records, please contact your school first; we will help the school respond.
For information collected on this website (for example, when you request a demo), SGR Solutions decides how it is used.
3. What we collect
On this website
- Demo requests: your name, school name, role, phone number, email (optional), state, approximate number of pupils and preferred contact method.
- Basic technical data such as browser type, device and pages visited, collected through Google Analytics, used to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
On the SkulPay platform
- School staff accounts: name, phone number, email, role, permissions and a log of actions taken in the system.
- Student records: name, class, fee invoices, payments, credits, discounts and the virtual account number assigned to the student.
- Parent or guardian contact details, mainly phone numbers, used to send payment reminders, receipts and school announcements by SMS.
- Staff payroll records, where the school uses payroll: salary structure, payslips, staff loans and PAYE details.
- Payment records received from our payment partners, such as the amount, date, reference and the name on the paying account.
Parents pay using their own bank app, USSD or at the bank. We do not receive parents' bank login details, PINs or card details.
4. How we use it
- To provide SkulPay: issuing virtual accounts, matching payments to invoices, keeping the school's accounting ledger and producing reports.
- To send SMS payment reminders, confirmations and announcements on the school's instructions.
- To respond to demo requests and provide onboarding and support.
- To keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and keep an audit trail of changes.
- To bill schools for their subscription and payment fees.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use parent or student data to market our own products to them.
5. Who we share it with
- Payment partners and our partner bank, which are CBN-licensed, to issue virtual accounts, process payments and settle funds to the school's bank account. We currently work with ZainPay and SquadCo.
- SMS delivery providers, to send messages to parents.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and run the platform for us.
- Google Analytics, which receives website usage data (not platform data) to help us understand how the website is used.
- Authorities, where we are required to by law.
Each school's data is kept separate from every other school's. One school cannot see another school's records.
6. How we protect it
Data is encrypted, and access is controlled by detailed role-based permissions. Every correction is logged with the before and after values and the person who made it. We back up the platform regularly.
7. How long we keep it
We keep a school's data for as long as the school uses SkulPay. After a school cancels, we keep it only for a limited period so the school can request an export of its records, and then delete it, except for financial records we must keep for longer by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Requests about school records should go to your school first. Requests about website or demo information can be sent to sgrsolutionsltd@gmail.com.
9. Children's data
Student records are entered by schools. We do not collect information directly from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date above and let subscribing schools know.
